What we collect. What we don’t.
Last updated: July 2026
No accounts, no personal data
bitcoinnews.io doesn’t have user accounts, logins, or forms. We don’t ask for your name, email, or any personal information to use the site or the dashboard.
Live market data
Prices, sentiment, and fees are fetched from public third-party APIs — CoinGecko, mempool.space, Binance, and alternative.me. Market cap and Mempool Heat are computed by us from that raw data, not fetched from a third party. Most of this data is fetched by our own server and cached briefly before reaching your browser. As with any website, your IP address is visible to our hosting infrastructure as part of normal web traffic.
Cookies & local storage
Right now, the only thing we store in your browser is your cookie-consent choice (via localStorage), so we don’t ask again on every visit. It stays on your device and isn’t sent to us or anyone else.
If we add analytics or advertising in the future, those services may set their own cookies to measure traffic or serve ads — this page will be updated first, and your consent choice will control whether they load.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect changes, we’ll update this page. Significant changes (like adding analytics or ads) will be reflected here before they go live.
